ROUTINE SERVICING SCHEDULE FOR A 2CV
Check oil level with engine warm and having been stood for 10 minutes. The level should be somewhere in the narrow section on the dipstick. Investigate any significant loss of oil.
Check tyre pressures, including the spare. Correct pressures (cold) are 20psi front and 26psi rear.
Check level of acid in battery. (Some batteries are sealed units in which case you will not be able to do this). Clean terminals and smear with Vaseline.
Check brake fluid level in reservoir. Investigate any drop in level.
Top up with DOT4 brake fluid for cars with drum front brakes or LHM for cars with front discs.
Top up windscreen washer fluid and check condition of wiper blades.
Check that all the lights, indicators, horn and wipers are working.
